Aaaah I got my perfume in the mail today!!
The apple-shaped bottle is EXACTLY like in the photos, light purple glass with gold leaves and elegant script, with white etchings on the tips. It’s so cute how the apple stem is where you spray the perfume from! :3
I haven’t smelled the scent for over a year and initially I thought it was a bit strong, but then I thought I best wait for awhile and let it sink in and adapt to the chemistry of my skin… I can’t exactly describe the smell because it’s so unique, but it’s definitely sweet! Here’s an analytical breakdown of the notes. Annick Menardo is a genius with scents… I prefer sweet, girly smells over the very overtly sexy, spicey ones [and I guess that matches my personality too!]. I was still a little hesitant about the perfume until it settled in more and I got a compliment from him about how good I smelled. “Like… sugar and vanilla? Mmm… it’s so delicious!”
I got a few opinions from other friends and they all said they liked it. To be honest, even if I completely didn’t like it, I would’ve kept the perfume because of the gorgeous bottle! :p But even better, I do like it. Yay for happy endings! I feel like a fairytale princess when I use it… the bottle is just so ridiculously beautiful and I feel like I’m using some magic elixir!
